I’m trying to grow several kinds of vegetable in my garden. This cucumber is one of them. The leaves of upper left side are potato leaves.
Flowers of Fava Bean
Fava Been is known as a bean which reached to a cloud in a night in Grimm Stories. This bean also known as Broad Bean and very popular food almost all countries except USA. I planted this bean this year because it is very easy and helpful to make soil enrich for other plants. Also I like to eat this bean. But I can see bees only few times around my vegetable garden this year – it is big problem for me now.

Flowers of Mizuna (Japanese Mustard Green)
These tiny yellow flowers are Japanese Mustard Green ones. You can see another picture of Japanese Mustard Green (Mizuna).
Mizuna - Japanese Mustard Green
Mizuna (水菜) is a kind of vegetable and popular in Japan. Mizuna is one of easy to grow vegetable and relatively tolerant for cold weather. Even though this vegetable is called as Japanese Mustard Green in English, but is not hot at all. Mizuna is one of my favorite vegetable.
Flowers of Daikon Radish
These tiny white flowers are Daikon Radish flowers. Daikon Radish is very popular vegetable in Japan and we call it just as “Daikon (大根)” in Japan. 大根 means big root and we eat this big white root in raw, after cooked or as pickles (we call this pickles as “Takuan (沢庵)”.
Yellow Peppers
These peppers are Yellow Peppers which is growing in my garden. All of them are sweet. I like not only sweet peppers but also hot ones very much even though sometime I have big trouble with the hot ones.
Flower of Yellow Pepper
This tiny white flower is Yellow Pepper which I planted in my garden. Most of all flowers of the pepper bloom with face down like as I mentioned on the post for Eggplant. Maybe the pepper is shy vegetable, too.
Watermelon
This watermelon is growing in my garden now. But the garden soil is not nutritious enough, so my watermelons didn’t grow big enough so far.

This light yellow flower is water melon’s one. I seeded some watermelon and now they have many flowers and some watermelon themselves.
Do you know you can’t plant watermelon in same place every year? You have to wait about 10 years to plant watermelon again in same place.
Damaged Tomatoes by Stinkybugs
Many stinkybugs came around and damage tomatoes so the tomatoes became red soon before they fully grow up. But I don’t want to use chemical.
