Chinese Aucuba
Species of Aucuba are evergreen shrubs or small trees. They are native east Asia. These pictures are for Chinese Aucuba. Aucuba trees bloom brownish tiny cluster flowers in spring season and have red berries in fall season on their female plants as you can see on these photos. You can enjoy these red berries through winter. In USA Japanese Aucuba is more popular. We call this tree as “青木 (aoki)” in Japan and very popular as garden trees.
