Black Tupelo

Black Tupelo is often called as Black Gum and this tree is very common in the area of eastern USA. The leaves spots are disease which occurs when the tree is planted on the soil of alkaline.

The size of these bell shaped flowers are about 6mm and they bloom in autumn. And the flowers turn red fruits that look like wild strawberry.
