Paperbush – Ready for Spring

This Paperbush is ready for the coming spring. Flower buds are going to open when warmer days come and they are already releasing good fragrance around it.

Paperbush can grow in shaded area or full sun area if you give it a plenty of water. It grows up to 1.8m (6 feet) height and width.

Berries of Yaupon Holly

This photo is showing the leaves and berries of Yaupon Holly. Yaupon Holly is an evergreen shrub or tree and grows up to 9m. Japanese Holly is suitable for hedge wood because this shrub grow very dense like a box wood. The leaves of Japanese Holly are unlike normal spiky holly trees, they are oral shape and have a sharp edge at the end of each leaf as you can see on the picture.

False Holly Tea Olive – Sasaba

These are leaves of Sasaba False Holly Tea Olive. This tree grow slowly up to 3m (10 feet) in the area of partial shade.

Sasaba is a Japanese word and means bamboo leaves in Japan. The leaves of Sasaba False Holly Tea Olive form long and spiny at the ends of them so the name of this false holly become Sasaba.
