Butcher's Broom
This photo is Butcher’s Broom. Butcher’s Broom is a little bit funny and strange name as a name of plant for me. This plant is also known as Box Holly, Sweet Broom, Knee Holly and these are much more normal for me.
Even though the name of this shrub is funny, Butcher’s Broom is being used in medical area in several ways and also young shoots are often treated as vegetable in many countries.

Leaves of Evergreen Maple
Evergreen Maple is something strange sound. This is one of few evergreen maple leaves. The origin of this maple is China. This maple grows a little bit slowly up to 9m (30feet) height and width and if planted in warm climate area, the leaves of this tree keep green even in winter season.

White and Red Confederate Rose
Again Confederate Rose flower photo. This time a little bit too dark? Sorry again.

Flowers of Crape Myrtle
This picture is Crape Myrtle. As I said in another post for Crape Myrtle, we call this plant as “Saru Suberi” in Japan because the tree surface is very smooth.
But the written name of this tree is “百日紅”; this means 100 days red because the flowering term of this plant is very long. We don’t write this plant name as “猿滑り (means monkey slip)”.
Sorry this explanation became a little bit complicated.

Leaves of Evergreen Spicewood
These leaves are Evergreen Spicewood.
