<p class="text">This picture is Crape Myrtle. As I said in <a href="http://www.my-photo-gallery.com/crape-myrtle-tree-42/">another post for Crape Myrtle</a>, we call this plant as &#8220;Saru Suberi&#8221; in Japan because the tree surface is very smooth. </p>
<p class="text">But the written name of this tree is &#8220;百日紅&#8221;; this means 100 days red because the flowering term of this plant is very long. We don’t write this plant name as &#8220;猿滑り (means monkey slip)&#8221;.</p>
<p class="text">Sorry this explanation became a little bit complicated. </p>
