Pink Flower of Japanese Camellia

Camellia is a very popular garden tree in Japan and we have many kinds of species. I posted Japanese Camellia trees and awhite Japanese Camellia flower on this site.

White Camellia Flower

This is white Japanese Camellia flower. Camellia is valuable tree because it has flowers in winter season when we have only a few flowers.

In Japan, Camellia flowers are loved by birds such as “Hiyodori” and “Mejio”. These birds love the nectar of the flower and these birds help Camellia pollination.

Fragrant Tea Olive

Fragrant Tea Olive is a popular tree in Japan and I think everyone like this tree because the flowers of this tree have good smell. And when we find this fragrance on a street or in a park, we know autumn has come.

We call this tree “Kin Mokusei (金木犀)” and we call white flower version of Fragrant Tea Olive as “Gin-Mokusei (銀木犀)”.

Gardenia Flower

This white flower is a Gardenia flower. You can easily recognize this flower before actually you see flowers of this evergreen shrub because the scent is so strong. Gardenia prefer the partial shadow area with moist.

White Portulaca Flower

This tiny white flower is Yellow Pepper which I planted in my garden. Most of all flowers of the pepper bloom with face down like as I mentioned on the post for Eggplant. Maybe the pepper is shy vegetable, too.

White Confederate rose Flower

Confederate rose (Hibiscus Mutabilis) is a kind of shrubs. You can enjoy many different colors of flowers from white to dark red. This shrub likes sun and easy to grow in your garden without any care.

We call Hibiscus Mutabilis as 芙蓉 (Fuyou) in Japan.

White Daffodil Flower

This is another white daffodil flower photo. I have more daffodil pictures and I’ll add them someday later.

White Doffodil (Narcissus) Flower

This white Daffodil flower picture also I took a few years ago in the yard. But this spring I couldn’t see the white daffodil at all due to my bad care.

So if you want to enjoy beautiful flowers each year, you have to take care of them well. This is an important lesson I learned from them.
