Leaves of Loquat
Loquat is an evergreen tree or large shrub and grows 6m (20feet) height and width. This plant is easy to grow and often used as ornamental tree. This plant has white small flowers, which are sweetly fragrant, in late fall or early winter and produces edible yellowish orange color fruits in spring and the seeds of the fruits are relatively big. We call this tree as “枇杷 (biwa) ” in Japan. Loquat is native to Japan and China.
