Downy Serviceberry is a deciduous tree, grows about 7.5m (25 feet) height and 6m (20 feet) width. Downy Serviceberry has white flowers in spring before leaves come out and these flowers are very showy and beautiful on bear branches. And Downy Serviceberry has purple berries (which are edible) in summer season.
