Even though Red Yucca is not a member of yucca family plants, this plant has foliages like yucca (they are not hard like Yucca’s ones) and these leaves reach 60~90cm (2~3 feet) long. Red Yucca blooms showy flowers along their flower stalk as you can see on these pictures from spring to fall and can enjoy these beautiful flowers for long period. And these flowers attract bees, butterflies and birds well during the flowering season. Red Yucca is a succulent plant and tough against heat, drought and cold weather so this plant is very useful as landscaping plants. Red Yucca is native to Texas.
