Beautiful Flower of Dahlia

Dahlia is one of my favorite flowers because I think the flowers of dahlia are very gorgeous as you can see on these pictures. Dahlia is native to Mexico, Central America and Columbia and several cultivars are developed in many area of the world. So now this flowering plant blooms many colors of flowers except blue. Also dahlia blooms several sizes of flowers from 5cm (2 inches) to 30cm (12 inches). Usually the single flowering dahlias bloom small flowers and grow less than 90cm (3 feet), and double flowering dahlias bloom bigger flowers and grow higher than single flowering ones.

When you are going to grow Dahlias, you should start tuberous root but not from seeds because most of Dahlias are hybrid plants and can’t grow completely to their original ones.
